5 Things to See & Do In Ocean City

posted on

TAM will host its Annual Conference & Expo this Fall on the sunny coast of Maryland. While the conference is packed with educational sessions, a vendor expo, networking opportunities and hosted receptions, there are many attractions that make Ocean City the ideal place to attend a conference. Check out these five activities from www.OCocean.com:

  1. Northside Park: Northside Park is located on 125th Street and the Bay. It is Ocean City's largest and most popular park.. This 58-acre complex boasts three lighted softball/baseball fields, a lighted soccer field, multipurpose field, a foot bridge, mini-borrowing library, concession stands, accessible playground, picnic shelter, two piers, over 1 mile of walking/jogging paths and a state of the art outdoor exercise area.

  1. OC Boardwalk: The iconic, 100 year old boardwalk, is booming with entertainment. The Travel Channel called the classic wooden boardwalk America's best. National Geographic named it one of the top 10 in the U.S. And USA Today named it one of the nation's best boardwalks for food. In short, it's three miles of highly concentrated fun.

  1. Life Saving Station Museum: Ocean City's museum, the Life Saving Station serves as an historic building displays Ocean City's past & the history of the U.S. Life-Saving Service. This location at the southernmost end of Ocean City's famed Boardwalk boasts one  of the best views of the Inlet and of Assateague Island, along with the sites of the fishing fleet's coming and going. The museum is open until 6:00pm!

  1. Bike! Visiting Ocean City is great by bike! Mention you visited the Ocean City Tourism  website and get $5 off any Surrey rental, and Two dollars off any other equipment rental!

  1. Play Golf:  Ocean City boasts 17 championship courses designed by the legends of the game. Courses that have been recognized by Golfweek, Golf Digest, and – most importantly – by golfers of all skill levels, who delight in the challenging holes and beautiful settings each Ocean City golf course offers.
